Aldi’s bringing back its popular Kamado BBQ this spring as part of its 2025 “Garden Must-Haves” Specialbuys. If you missed out last time, now’s your chance. The garden range drops in stores on Sunday 27 April, and the Kamado is landing the same week. Mark your calendar if ceramic grilling is your thing — especially if you’re doing it on a budget.
The 2025 model sticks to the tried-and-true: thick ceramic shell, built-in temperature gauge, stainless-steel grate. But they’ve made a few upgrades: folding wooden side shelves for prep space and a reinforced gasket lid that locks in heat and smoke. Whether you’re firing it up for steaks at 400°C or running low-and-slow at 110°C, the tight seal and adjustable vents give you a lot of control.
If you’re from the Ugly Drum Smoker camp, you’ll appreciate the heat retention on this thing. That ceramic body holds temp like a champ — great for long brisket cooks. The new side shelves aren’t just for looks either. They’ll happily hold a tray of ribs or your water pan. And yes, there’s clearance for a heat deflector stone if you’re into indirect smoking.
Still priced at £299.99, it’s one of the cheapest Kamado-style grills you’ll find on the high street. You’d usually expect to pay double that for similar specs.
